Barbara believes that “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by every moment that takes your breath away” When she clicks the shutter of her camera she is witness to one of these moments. By capturing what she sees she is able to hold that moment in time. She studied at Adelphi University in New York and Santa Barbara City College in Photography and Art. Her photography has been shown at juried exhibits in Santa Barbara and Carpinteria. Collections of her photography are in Texas, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Arizona and California. Her work is on permanent collection pf Glendale Adventist Medical, St. Joseph Birmingham Urgent Care and Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. She is a musician and plays with the Santa Barbara Ukulele Club and also enjoys playing the piano and guitar. She did Music Therapy with many clients. Barbara had a Video Biography Business. She was able to capture through video and photography the life stories of clients who wanted to pass down their history to their family. She has been involved with the Channel City Camera Club and is a member of the Santa Barbara Art Association.
